Is it worth it to go for Support characters? tbh I’m still.. not super sure how to strategically approach combat lol I’m still just throwing my same team of whomever-I-have-highest-and-available at them :’)

That’s my strategy all the time! 

But I’m trying to be a bit more strategic, I guess, and I’d also like to get more characters to vibranium. He’s got some decent skills. And apparently supports are better at the higher rarities. Loki has been handy.

hm yeah, those are good things to consider.. I’m not super breaking my metaphoric back over AvAc right now, though, so I think unless there IS a leaderboards, and it gives me a decent amount of Goliath shards, then Model 42 is still off the table for me *shrug emoji* sometimes AvAc be like this, I guess…

Yeah, I’ve kind hit a ceiling on this event. It’s either change the goals – giving up on Ghost – or spend a lot more money than I want to on this event.

Guess I’m working on Pym.

I think the biggest deciding factor for me was I didn’t want to spend too many shards. I have 4 Goliath shards total as of now, haven’t unlocked him yet, and then like however many days to the end of the event (4 and change). I did stop working towards it for like.. a day or two, so now I’m really not sure what to do lol. Part of me wants to go back and try, but I’ve already split my resources, in a sense, so I Don’t Even Know anymore :’)

Yeah, the energy problem is terrible. Plus you have to use energy to get the materials to make other materials.

I suspect that there will be a leaderboard later in the week (based on past events – I don’t know anything for certain). That could help.

But, I had to spend shards to get Goliath to 3R to progress. If you don’t know if you can get Goliath to 3R by Wednesday, then Tony’s a no-go. You’ll need energy to get the 75 quantum arc reactors.

The arc reactors are in the Pym Capsule. But that’s a pricey gamble.

aw man I’ve just. given up on getting the Iron Man model 42 :’) Currently just doing Ant-Man plat, and then I guess if I have time, Stinger plat… :’)

You never know. I found that getting Goliath to 3R was fairly easier than Cho and once you get to Heroic 2.15, it’s easy to rack up the quantum arc reactors. My basic problem was that I triggered the costume timer so I was under the gun to get the costume.

But then again, I barely do the math before I try for anything. 

Whatever you decide, I’m rooting for you!

😦 😦 but Iron Man…
apparently the next event might be a Captain Marvel celebration bc there’s new voice actors for Mar-Vell and Noh-Varr? that sounds like it could be cool…

double oof. Well I guess I’ll be taking the rest of this event chill… currently working on Ant-Man plat bc I guess I already gathered some of the stuff to buy 3 rounds of his shards. And then after that… maybe Stinger plat? grinding for 100 seems a lot less disheartening than trying to grind for 200 lol

@rendingrosencrantz I know. That’s why I gave up on the costumes. 

I think I’m going to go for getting Hank to 5R. After I try for Ghost. We’ll see.

And yeah, there’s such a difference between 100 and 200.

@captainneverever oof… and I don’t like the AvAc design enough for me to spend THAT many shards, I think…. welp I guess Antman or Stinger rarities it is, then…

@rendingrosencrantz yeah, let’s just say that I had to buy 2 packs of Goliath shards to move forward. At minimum – I had a lot of bad luck with the Goliath orbs.

YES. And it was HARD. I was motivated because it was Tony’s outfit but I’m going to have to really consider whether or not to go for the next one. 

And I’m happy already with the storyline!

I would have been would have better off if I hadn’t triggered the timer. It took a lot to get Goliath. And the last fight was miserable
