In season 5, episode 12, Steve goes poof in a vibranium cloud (shield gets shattered too) as he tries to stop the story macguffin from going off. The rest of the Avengers go after T’Challa that they blame for Steve being gone. In episode 13, T’Challa and Shuri fight the world (including Tony in a stealth suit and a bare-chested Thor) to return the macguffin to Wakanda.
I don’t know where to start because I just wasn’t crazy about season 5. AA T’challa felt very very comic-booky, instead of the MCU version. A lot of problems would be solved if people talked to each other; that part was painful.
But the poofing of Steve was really kind of awful since there was no emotional reaction or space to digest.
Finally caught up on season 5 of Avengers Assemble. And I have no words and am kind of massively disappointed.

@captainneverever this event is weird because I feel like the resource needs are all scattered, but there’s not quite enough resources to really select something and go for it either? Those red card requirements are so high, so I think you kind of HAVE to do the dailies.. but then the dailies give you all different kinds of other resources to buy stuff.. hmm
Yeah. The daily card thing makes it so that you have to choose what to do – you can do 1 of 3 things but not all the things. And it’s so hard to earn orbs to get the rarity stuff for Peggy or Fury. And then four of the event characters are on the regular map so you can farm that to increase their abilities.
Great to have separate event energy. But I bet next episode will have a different colored card and the orbs will need both colors. Again, choices about what to get.
