Avengers Academy, where the story never hurts and Tony and Steve love each other.
Pretty happy with this event so far — got Inferno.
There is no way on god’s green earth I’m getting the original Hawkeye costume, so it’s back to leveling up and getting rarity, until the next episode drops.
So that’s the end of the event for me. I got: 2 new characters, got the returning characters up to gold, got the penguin, bought the Bucky costume, and got four characters up to rank 5, which I consider great. And I’ll get the gold trophy.
I did like getting gold orbs in fights when we first cleared nodes so I liked that. I liked the crate part. Bucky’s storyline was very funny with all the emo callbacks.
The thing is that for me to get the two new characters, I had to buy the generators. Comparatively speaking, I was willing to buy the premium characters during the version 1 events. I’m wondering if I want to budget for that again, i.e. buying generators. I’m kind of in a spot where I have the vast majority of characters (I’m missing 3) so the events don’t have much for me if I can’t earn new characters.
The other thing that I learned from this event is I have to start getting characters up vibranium and leveled up beyond level 50 (my current academy level is 55) to get further in future events, specifically the diamond trophies.
I like getting new characters and I don’t mind grinding for them. But the game is focused more on rewarding a player when they’ve ranked, leveled, and raritied up chatacters than having a lot of characters. Except for those rare types like a mystic tank — it’s necessary to invest getting those types of characters. So that makes me wonder about waiting to get new characters later through orbs or as returning characters in events. It makes sense to do that, but not as much fun.
On to the next event, I guess.
Just a gut feeling — this might not be a good idea at all.
Unexpected missions on my campus tonight.
Have they ever taken finals? Do they even have finals?

Well, it makes sense, given the importance of cheese at the Academy.
