The X-Men Evolution episode (Operation: Rebirth) is about how Magneto re-activates the Rebirth chamber in order to go younger (meanwhile Rogue is not doing well in history, specifically in WWII history); supposedly Steve and Logan blew up all the chambers because Steve doesn’t want other people to suffer. Features: true-to-the-616-comics Fury, Xavier pondering Logan’s real age, and Logan angsting over Steve.
Fun fact – X-Men Evolution referenced Tony with the appearance of the Stark Tower in New York in an episode.
The Captain America episode in X-Men: The Animated Series was Old Soldiers in season 5 (aka the worst-animation-ever season). Logan goes to France, gets children’s cartoon drunk, and reminisces in a cemetery about joining Cap and the Howling Commandos on a mission in WWII. There’s some modern day story in there too. But the thing is that Logan again angsts over Steve.

For 616 I’m good with anything from early era up to and including recent issues where it concerns Steve or Tony. For MCU I prefer post-AoU get-togethers to early canon, though I’m happy to try my hand at any of it. If it’s comics, I will read it and I will write you a Steve/Tony story to your request, set in it, no matter how small or obscure. You want 616? Great! Any era you want! You want Ults? Great! You want Marvel Adventures? Also great! 1872, Noir, Bullet Points? Bring it on! You desperately want a Steve/Tony story set in that What If where Tony lost the Armor Wars and Justin Hammer put a mind-control collar on him and made him walk around in his underwear? I don’t know how you’d get a Steve/Tony story out of that, but I am game to try! I need to be able to get a copy of the comics you want, but other than that, the sky is the limit.
I am currently still working on the last story I offered for a fannish auction (a sequel to the Steve/Tony Star Trek AU Straight on till Morning for Stony Trumps Hate), which affects this auction in two ways. One is that I can’t start this until I’m done with that, but I’m figuring I ought to be done with that by January, so that’s (hopefully!) about when I can start.
The other thing is that I really, seriously mean it about the estimated word count this time, people. I really can’t write another novel-length story by the auction work deadline. I am again tentatively willing to write sequels if that’s a thing you want to see from me, and per auction rules I believe you are all allowed to band together and do group bids again – but for this one it really, really can’t be another novel-length story, or my brain will melt. Sorry. (I do have some ideas for sequels or parts thereof that would fit into my estimated wordcount; I also have some that definitely would not. So if you are thinking about some kind of sequel from me, please ask first about the specific story you have in mind, so I can figure out if the length is workable.)
