I didn’t think this tumblr thing would hit me so hard, but it it. I know people are gonna migrate – don’t know when, but sometime soon. It’s possible the decision won’t be made for us and it will be made faster than we’re planning for.
Here’s the thing: I’m here for the long haul. This fandom means SO MUCH to me. I’ve made so many friends here. SO MANY. Fandom is sort of becoming decentralized already, and I don’t want to wake up and find that my community has vanished overnight and I CAN’T FIND ANY OF THEM.
So I offer you: a spreadsheet open to ANYONE IN STEVETONY FANDOM. Participation is voluntary; fill in to your comfort level. I know that all of those ‘find me here’ posts are gonna get lost under the volume of ‘the sky is falling’ posts so hopefully this is better. And you can come back and edit it if your handles change!

furaffinity.net – similar to DA but for furries, easy to display commish info

ways to save your current tumblr posts
use the wayback machine! you do have to archive each page of your blog individually but once you do all the content, including media, will be saved exactly as it was at the moment you archived it.
wordpress and soup both allow you to directly import whole tumblr blogs, and if i recall correctly it’s something both dreamwidth and pillowfort have said they are working on.
if you have some knowledge of computers you can try this github solution which uses a python script to download your whole blog to your computer.
even if you don’t know anything about programming or the command line
they give a very good beginners tutorial on how to use it so you should still give it a shot!
This story about two monarchs who should never have fallen in love is something I’ve been carrying around for three years. I’ve been dying to tell it, but it’s become such a big story that I haven’t known how.
For once, this is coming out of the gate as the kind of story where your feedback and comments could easily lead to more chapters. My challenge with this story is containing it and deciding what bits to share.

Anthony Stark is an adventurer, a scientist and inventor with a well deserve fame for his creations. However, when he tried to prove this best theory about the Steam, the origin of the humankind and the Animarium —animal companions with a metal body—, his world crashed down. The return of a menace and the apparition of a skinny young man called Steven Rogers will put him back in business. Maybe he wasn’t wrong about his theory, maybe with his old and new friends fighting at his side, Anthony Stark will find the truth behind his world and the Animarium.
A ton of posts are now being flagged as sensitive content thanks to Tumblr’s new idea to make it adult content free. However, you can request a review so they can fix it. I know it’s tiring, and I know it’s not our fault that Tumblr can’t do a simple thing right, but I refuse to have any of my SFW creations being taken down just because Tumblr doesn’t know how to write an algorithm.
So here’s what you can do, even if you aren’t the OP.
Any post that has been flagged will show something like the image below at the top of the post, even if it’s a reblog.
If you’re the OP, a REVIEW link will show up at the right margin of the red bar where it says “Your post was flagged”. Click on it, and then click REQUEST REVIEW, like the image below.
After you’ll get a message in an orange bar saying “Your post is in content appeal”, meaning they’re evaluating whether their algorithm screwed up or not. If it was wrongfully marked as sensitive (and it most likely was), you’ll get an email being alerted to that your post is now visible to everyone again.
Alternatively, if you aren’t the OP, but your reblogs are flagged as well, (which in this case, you’ll see something like the image below in your flagged reblog), you can message the OP about it so they can request a review.
Please, don’t ignore this! It’s bad enough that adult content is being deleted because Tumblr can’t deal with p*rn bots, but having content that has absolutely nothing to with adult content being deleted as well can be fixed, even if we’re the ones who have to ask for said fix.
just to be clear, I’m staying here as long as this site functions. I have 0 intentions of deleting this blog, I will go down with this ship if only to see exactly how bad it gets
