The time has come for us to update the Cap-Iron Man beta readers list!

With the 2018 Cap-Iron Man Big Bang currently in progress, it’s now the perfect time for our talented community members to offer up their services.

We are migrating our Cap-Iron Man beta reader list to a Google Sheet, and requesting that everyone who wants to volunteer their services as a beta reader—including those previously listed in the old document—sign up to be included. This list is going to replace the old one and will be linked across all of the Cap-Iron Man community’s channels.

If you want to use some of the details that you submitted to the now-defunct beta reader list, you will still be able to see the document (here’s the link for ease ) for the next two weeks, after which it will become inactive and no longer be accessible to anyone.

Through our new beta reader list, it’ll be easier for authors to search through available beta readers by canon, services, rating, word length, and so on, and the new method of signing up should be easily accessible to everyone!

Please, if you’re willing to beta-read for Steve/Tony works, fill out this form!

We have plenty of flexibility for different types of betaing (including cheer-reading!), and we welcome betas for all the Marvel universes in which Steve or Tony appear. If you already beta for someone but are willing to take on more fics, sign on up! If you are new to beta-reading but determined to help others improve their writing, we want you, too! We’ll be posting some guidelines on working with beta readers and how to be a good beta reader soon, so keep your eye out for those.

Remember, being on this list doesn’t obligate you to beta anyone’s fic. It’s simply a place for interested writers to try to find someone who will beta read their work before posting. However, we do want this list to reflect active beta readers only, so that writers can find the help they need! This means that after you’re added to the list, we may contact you periodically (no more than once a year) to confirm you’re still active, and we encourage you to contact us at any time if your availability changes. If you want to indicate that you don’t want to be contacted for a time, or no longer have an interest in beta reading, let us know. Lastly, if you are contacted at a time when you cannot beta read (for whatever reason), please notify the author.
