We reached the halfway point! We’re so impressed by everyone’s kindness and generosity so far; we love seeing bidders and creators cheer one another on as they bid and get bid on…which is why we hope you’ll support our golden needle auctions!
What are golden needles, you ask? These are auctions that are less active but just as wonderful and deserving of bids. With 354 auctions, we want to make sure that no one gets lost in the haystack—hence why we have a dedicated “golden needle” tag on our Tumblr and auction site to make these hidden treasures easier to find.
This tag gives everyone a chance to be bid on and allows bidders to find new creators they aren’t familiar with and/or auctions they can afford. We know that some people don’t have much money to spare but still want to bid, and this is a great way to find auctions that are within budget!
While many of our auctions offer fic or art, we also have exciting offers for beta services (editing, soundboarding/planning, historical accuracy, fact-checking, culture-picking, etc.), crafts, digital works (graphics/edits, gifsets, manips, mood boards, etc.), podfics, translations, and videos. There are several one-of-a-kind auctions on offer, so feel free to browse the golden needle tag in its entirety.
