as yall might’ve noticed, I’ve been a bit away from the tumblr scene and there is reason for that: about three weeks ago, I was terminated from a job I’d had for a year and a half. it was sudden and definitely blindsided me so I have been frantically hitting the job boards in hopes of finding a new job that will sustain me. I haven’t been – as successful as I’d hoped.
so, with seven days until rent comes due, I’m in a bit of a pickle. a big pickle. I won’t be able to make enough for rent and utilities to last me another month. I’ve talked with my landlady and she’s agreed to push back my rent date (she was surprisingly understanding but that’s about the only silver lining) and I am finally bowing to pressure simply because of this: if I can’t keep my place, I’m likely going to have to give up my cats.
and I wont do that. I can’t do that. Midna and Kai are my darlings, my babies, and I cannot imagine giving them up. it would tear me apart.
so here we are. I have created a gofundme page to keep me afloat for at least one more month. that should be enough time to finally get a follow up on some of the jobs that have progressed to phone interviews but it’s all I have left.
if you can help me, please, please do. if you can’t, I totally understand. if you could rebagel this and get the word out, I would be forever grateful. I’m so sorry to do this.
