Can you believe we’re almost halfway through the auction already? Time’s flying by, so don’t wait until the last minute to bid! Before you know it, it’ll be 11:59 PM ET on October 27 (what time is that for me?), and auction week will be over.

Holidays are around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about presents. Fanworks make fantastic gifts either for yourself (as the saying goes, “Treat yo self!”) or for a friend. Maybe you’ve seen your friend mention that they’re longing for a good beta reader or that they’d love to get a certain fic podficced! Maybe you already know that they’d appreciate receiving a gift of their fic translated into their native language… There’s a gift for everyone in this auction, we assure you. Just remember: if you’re setting out to bid on a gift for someone, keep in mind both the creator’s and giftee’s wants and DNWs.

Different ways to commission gifts after winning:

• Secretly commission the creator on your friend’s behalf and surprise your friend with the work once it’s done.
• Tell your friend what you did and have them commission the creator directly. If you opt for this method, please get in touch with us after you win the auction by emailing marveltrumpshate@gmail.com with your friend’s email and other contact details so that we make sure they can get in touch with their creator.

You can look through our tag list and creator list to see if anything catches your eye for a present for yourself or a friend. We’re also in the process of making up some lists for specific pairings across various Marvel fandoms and sending them out to different comms and Discord servers: if you’re interested in getting one for a Tumblr/LJ/DW comm you mod or a Discord server you’re in, get in touch!

So far, we have:

• A complete Steve/Tony list that includes universe and fanwork type (as well as MCU, 616 and Ults specific posts in their respective Steve/Tony Discords)
• A Carol/Jess list made by @ironlawyer on both the Tumblr and Discord server
• A Marvel-wide poly list divided by fanwork type and ships made by @zepysgirl
• A Peter/Wade list which has been put up on the Spideypool Discord server by @morcabre
• A Tony Stark-centric list in the Tony Stark HQ Discord server
• A  Bucky/Tony list in the Winteriron Discord server
