I don’t have many followers here, at least, not compared to my AO3 subscriptions, so this is… dubious at best, and I’m expecting much. But I’m a student, who needs to make rent, so I’m desperate at this point.
I have a student loan, but it doesn’t cover it for my final semester. I don’t qualify for any financial aid. I’m fucked.
I can launch into a spiel about how much everyone should support fic writers etc but I know that’s not viable; most of you are as poor as me. But if there is anyone out there who has even enjoyed my work a tiny bit over the past five years, or who has £3 that’s just burning a hole in their pocket, please consider donating to my ko-fi:
For example, if everyone subscribed to date to my latest work, Into The Fold, donated one coffee, I would have almost £1000; that’s basically the amount I need to pay, just like that. I know that’s probably unrealistic, but if even just 5 people donated that would be something!
At the end of the day, I know that most people have other priorities and that’s absolutely fine. I’ll also be opening commissions starting from June 9th; anyone who wants a story commissioned, the prices will be as follows:
£7.50 = 1000 words
£12.00 = 2000 words
£16.50 = 3000 words
£21.00 = 4000 words
£25.50 = 5000 words
(For fics above 5000 words, there will be consultation over price // I write literally anything; I have zero squicks/triggers)
Again: if you have ever, ever, liked even one of my fics enough to follow me or subscribe to me, please consider that as the years go on, it’s harder for me to turn out content. I know this is a long-shot, I know barely any of you follow me here, but I’ll be pleading over on AO3 as well.
